Carllistus Obeng is a Ghanaian-American educational consultant with a background in neurodiversity, psychoeducational evaluations and special education processes. Carllistus was born in Fort Worth, Texas but has lived in Montana, Illinois, Maryland, Delaware and Washington, DC. His vast knowledge of understanding every walk of life has made his training sessions applicable to all people. Carllistus completed a B.A in Psychology from Wesley College and M.Ed from Howard University in School Psychology and Counseling services. Over the past several years he has served as a Speaker, Mental Health Director and School Psychologist in Washington, DC.
Carllistus has been fortunate enough to present training sessions at various schools across the nation on topics surrounding Mental Health, learning disabilities and parenting. He has also spoken on several panel’s and media outlets including Spotify's Mental Health Panel on How to Establish Self Love in Children and Light to Life YouTube Panel on Combating Mental Health Stereotype Among Black Men.
Carllistus prides himself on using practical data-driven strategies to help teachers and parents reach their goals. He believes the key to unlocking potential are small incremental adjustments to a student’s life. The tools and resources Carllistus has developed are practical and can be used in almost any setting.
